Marina Helen Guarneri, 99, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024.
She was born on December 16, 1924, in Geneva, New York, to Charles and Helen (Lazio) LaNasa.
Marina was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Fr. James, Michael and Charles; sisters Francis and Claudina and son Salvatore.
She is survived by her children Grace-Marie, John, Helen, Charles and Mario. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, along with numerous friends who knew her warmth and love.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Monday (September 9) in Reston, Va. She will be transported to Geneva, N.Y. for burial. Viewing will take place from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. on Wednesday (September 11) at Palmisano-Mull Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery Geneva New York.
