Lucille Kinsella

Lucille Kate (Taylor) Kinsella, fondly known as CB, passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 97.

She was predeceased by her husband, John (Jack) Kinsella; and daughter Patricia Herdeg.

She is survived by her sons Daniel (Elizabeth Lehmann), Timothy (Rosemary), Thomas, James (Jill) and Christopher (Jeanette); daughters Susan and Elizabeth (Takeshi) Sakanishi; and son-in-law Glenn Herdeg. Also 13 grandchildren: Kristin (Timothy) Walker, Paul (Angela) Kinsella, Matthew (Gina) Kinsella, Brian (Gina) Herdeg, Alison Kate (Andy) Mitchell, Nicholas Herdeg, Alexander Kinsella, Madeline Kate and Kelly Kinsella, Margaret, Bridget, Patrick and Joseph Kinsella; and 11 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Leah Kate and Aaron Walker, Emma, Lydia and Mary Kate Herdeg, Connor and Zachary Kinsella, Zoe Kate and Cooper Kinsella, Kaylee Mitchell and many nieces and nephews.

She was a 1945 graduate of Geneva High School and the Rochester General Hospital School of Nursing (1948). She was active until her later years in high school reunions and was a life long member of the School of Nursing alumni, where she served in every office through the years. She was a past Board member and served on the Advisory Board of the Rochester Medical Museum Archives and was a volunteer at RGH for 30 years.

A member of Summerville Presbyterian Church, she was a ruling elder and had served as a deacon. She was also a member of St. Margaret Mary's Altar and Rosary Society as well as St. Francis Mother's Circle.

Calling hours will be Monday (September 16) from 9-11 a.m. at Farrell-Ryan Funeral & Cremation Services 777 Long Pond Road with a service to follow at 11 a.m.

Private burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, N.Y. at the convenience of the family.
