Judith “Judi” Voisey, of Dundee, NY, passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Judi was born on July 13, 1950, to William and Marilyn Benedict. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1968 and attended college at C.C.C. Throughout her life, she pursued a variety of passions and ventures. Judi owned Disbrow Upholstery, co-owned the Dundee Observer in the 1980s, and operated a family care home. She was an avid horsewoman and had a keen eye for decorating.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Voisey; her daughters, Lisa (Sanford) Peelle and Shana (Chris) Grant; and her grandchildren, Samuel Richards and Brooke Peelle. Judi is also survived by her stepchildren, Shawna (Steve) Lewis, Kim (Andy) Castelluzzo, John (Wendy) Voisey, Brittany (Dave) Wiley, and Cal Voisey, as well as her sisters, Susan (John) Flood and Sheryl Benedict, and numerous step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Judi was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, Samuel Disbrow, and her sister Diane Simonsen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy Association. A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s convenience.
