Joyce (Skinner Lodge) DeVay, age 80, of Odessa, passed away on December 18, 2025.
Joyce was born September 22, 1945, in Montour Falls, the daughter of John and Catherine (Lutomske) Skinner. She worked for many years as a teacher’s aide at Watkins Glen Central School. Earlier in her career, she was employed by Miller Ford Company and Learn Motor Company in Watkins Glen.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husbands, Robert Lodge and Charles DeVay; her brother and sister, Richard and Carol Skinner; and her brother-in-law, Zane Unterzuber.
Joyce is survived by her son, Paul (Cathy) Lodge of Reading Center; her sister, Sandra Unterzuber of Arizona; her sister-in-law, Fran Skinner of Florida; two grandsons, Dakota and Justin Lodge; and three nephews, Greg (Joanne), Mike, and Doug (Lisa) Reynolds.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at Glenwood Cemetery in Watkins Glen, with the date to be announced. Memorial donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
