
Joanne Fratangelo, 85, passed away peacefully at Newark Wayne Community Hospital on January 12, 2025. Born the daughter of John and Mollie Fratangelo, Joanne spent her whole life in her hometown of Clyde. After graduating from Clyde Senior High School, she worked her years for General Electric and Thomas Electronics. She loved to watch wrestling and the Cleveland Browns. She enjoyed listening to her favorite artist, Neil Diamond, whenever she got the chance.
She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis Simon and Maryanne Caves; nephews, Keith Simon and Karl Simon; nieces, Kim (Ron) Bixby and Melissa (Scott) Mullin; great-nieces, Nicole (Brett) DePuyt, Kayla (Jacob Salerno) DeWolf, and Ashley (David) Bianchi; and great-nephews, Nathan DiSanto, Simon and Allyn (Jessica Harris) Bixby. The lights of her life, that always kept her laughing, were her great-great nieces, Brynlee, Brooklyn, and Ryleigh and her great-great nephews, Jaxson and Caiden. She also leaves behind her very loving friend, Florence Celso and many cousins.
Friends and family can call on Tuesday, January 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pusateri Funeral Home, 68 Sodus St in Clyde. A service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. All are invited to join her family for a luncheon at Stone 8 Tap House, 10258 NY-31 in Clyde following the service.

She is predeceased by her parents, Mollie and John; beloved brother and best friend, John Fratangelo Jr.; and her brothers-in-law Carl Simon and Richard Caves.
