    A cold front has pushed through the region and temperatures have quickly dropped below freezing and will continue to drop into the low 20s and teens overnight. Howard L. Sisson
1965-2025

Howard L. Sisson, age 60, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Valley View Hospital as a result of a house fire. Howard was born on July 31, 1965, in Penn Yan, NY.

Howard was predeceased by his father, Howard Sisson, in 1995. He is survived by his loving wife, Wendy (Kenyon) Sisson; a son, Richard Sisson of Chicago, IL; daughters, Corena (Chris) Stockmaster of Rochester, NY, and Suzan Pero of Chicago, IL; his mother, Marilyn Dixon Parmelee of Penn Yan, NY; his brother, Jamie (Erika) Sisson of Penn Yan, NY; grandchildren, Ethan Stockmaster and Patricia Stockmaster; along with several nieces and nephews.

Howard attended Penn Yan Academy and went on to serve his country for six years in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Watkins Glen International race track and was also an active member of the Penn Yan Moose Lodge #2030. He enjoyed stock car racing, was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, and loved spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life for Howard will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Penn Yan Moose Lodge, 301 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Townsend-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, Penn Yan, NY.
