Hayley J. Scholtisek, age 48, of Watkins Glen, passed away February 12, 2026, at Schuyler Hospital in Montour Falls.

Hayley was born on September 27, 1977, the daughter of Henry and Dorothy Scholtisek. Her parents predeceased her.

She is survived by her brothers and sister, Melissa (Robert) Teed of Reading Center, Michael (Teresa) Scholtisek of Trumansburg, and Eric (Amy) Scholtisek of Watkins Glen; her aunts, Deb Ribble (Jim) and Beverly Naylor; her niece, Allison Teed; and her nephews, Regan Scholtisek, Owen Scholtisek, and Jaydon Scholtisek.

Hayley made many lasting friendships throughout her life. She loved her family and looked forward to spending every holiday together.

She faced many challenges with a smile and a positive attitude, often telling everyone, “I’m good.” She had a gentle spirit, with a heart and smile as big as the sky.

Hayley was a devoted fan of Reba McEntire, enjoying her music, television shows, and concerts. She also enjoyed shopping, going out to dinner, and spending time with friends and family.

Family and friends are invited to call at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, 212 E. 4th St., Watkins Glen, on Friday (Feb. 20) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. A private burial will be held at Lakeview Cemetery.
