Ellen Jeannette Bellizzi, 89, of Clyde, formerly Ellen Corrigan, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Ellen was born on January 10, 1937, in Jordan, New York. Ellen lived a life centered on faith, family, and community. Ellen was a longtime, active member of her church and the Clyde Rotary, always ready to lend a hand and support those around her. She was known for her warmth, her steady presence, and her deep love for her family. She was also a devoted Buffalo sports fan, faithfully cheering on the Bills and the Sabres through every season - though she never stopped hoping to see the Bills bring home a Super Bowl. Ellen will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Bellizzi.
Ellen is survived by her sister, Joan Moore; her son, Christopher (Cindy); her daughter, Patricia (Terry); her granddaughter, Brittany (Joseph); and their three daughters, Avery, Hanna, and McKenna; and her grandson, TJ (Candice) and their daughter, Bentley.
Please join the family at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. Joseph the Worker/St. John's Church, 43 W. Dezeng Street, Clyde, N.Y. 14433, for Ellen's Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Clyde, N.Y.
