Charles “Mike” Michael Davis, age 75, of Waterloo, New York, passed away on November 15, 2025, at home.
Mike was born on November 17, 1949, in Elmira, New York, to the late Charles “Red” Davis and Etta M. (Shafer) Davis.
He was predeceased by his parents and a son, Frank William Davis, in 1973. He is survived by his daughter, JoLyn (Randy) Yochum of Seneca Falls, New York; his sons, Jeffrey Davis of Elmira, New York, and Kyle Eldred of Micanopy, Florida; his sisters, Sherry “Gunner” Davis of Trumansburg, New York, and Sandra (Roger) Kubler of Burdett, New York; his grandchildren, Miranda (Yochum) Leach, Lauren Yochum, and Nick Yochum; along with four great-grandchildren.
Mike was a graduate of Odessa-Montour High School. He was a self-employed electrician and carpenter and worked for International Salt for over 10 years. He was a 30-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a 20-year member of the Trumansburg Rifle and Pistol Club.
He had a deep sense of patriotism and devotion to his country and God and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Mike cherished time spent with friends and family. A special thank you is extended to Art Porter and Gerold Liller, Jr., for their kindness.
Mike will be laid to rest in Montour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Trumansburg Rifle and Pistol Club, PO Box 10, Trumansburg, NY 14886.
