Charles C. 'Chris' Hayes, 53, of Seneca Falls, passed at Strong Memorial Hospital on December 23, 2024 after unforeseen circumstances. A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 10 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls. Private interment will take place in Restvale Cemetery.
Chris was born in Waterloo, N.Y., the son of Charles and Judith (Hoefler) Hayes. He was a graduate of Mynderse Academy, Class of 1990. Chris was employed with various companies in the area over the years and found his calling in sales, most recently with LC New York. Chris was very much a metal head when it came to music. He loved hard rock and metal from the 80's and 90's up through to the artists of today and always enjoyed a live show. He was also a fan of the Buffalo Bills and the NY Yankees.
Chris is survived by his daughter, Alexis (Patrick Lyons) Hayes; parents, Charles and Judith Hayes; brother, Timothy Hayes; sister, Sheila (Hayes) Turri, two nephews; Alexis' mother, Stacey McLaggan; and many friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his girlfriend, Carolyn DeChick in 2021.
