Carolyn Jean Hauf Damoth, 78, passed away Friday (September 27, 2024) at Geneva General Hospital surrounded by family following an extended illness.
In keeping with her wishes and of those of the family, there will be no calling hours or service. A celebration of life will be announced in the future.

Carolyn was born July 1,1946, and lived her life in Waterloo, N.Y., the daughter of Art and Carolyn V. Housel Hauf. She was a 1964 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Carolyn graduated from Auburn Community College with an associate's degree in accounting. She was employed for many years at Seneca Army Depot working in the Club System and later was employed as an accountant with George H. Wright Co., Inc., until she retired. Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling and playing cards with friends and family. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wilson "Rick" Damoth; a son Jamie (Renee) Damoth of Romulus, N.Y.; six grandchildren: Caitlin (Tom Bishop) Damoth, Ross (Jessica) Cali, Eric (Madison Wing) Cali, Ryan Cali, Shannon Cali, and Heather (Marlin, Jr.) Daeffler; six great-grandchildren: Isabelle, Nora, Everett, Claire, Brielle, and Luke; three brothers: Arthur (Sharon) Hauf of Towson, Md., Gary (Anne) Hauf of Eagle Bay, N.Y., and Michael (Pam) Hauf of Waterloo, N.Y.; a sister Melinda (Marlin, Sr.) Daeffler of Waterloo, N.Y.; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents.
