Bruce Armstrong Viertel, 91, passed away on April 18, 2025, with his wife of 67 years by his side. He was born in Richmond, Virginia, on August 8, 1933, but was raised mostly in Canton, N.Y.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva, N.Y. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, 48 Pulteney St., Geneva, N.Y. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum.
