Barbara V. DePillo, 93. Passed away on Monday (November 13, 2023), at the Geneva Living Center, North, with her daughter by her side. In honoring her wishes, the service will be private. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum.

Barbara was born on September 6, 1930, in Newark, N.Y. and was a daughter of the late Robert A. and Frances (Miksic) Viola. She worked for many years as a legal secretary at the Bond & McDonald Law Office in Geneva. Barbara enjoyed cooking, baking and always shared a delicious pot of sauce with family and friends. Her greatest joy was when she was with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Stephen) Achilles of Geneva; sister, Frances Curtis of Newark; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Derr Viola and Elizabeth Barbieri Viola; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ben McMinn) Achilles, Dr. Stephanie Achilles, Karen (William) Hendrick, Robert DePillo, Jr.(Courtney Trickler and daughter, Vyvian) and Sara Saylor (Dan Van De Rostyn); great-grandchildren, Liam, Landry and Cecelia Hendrick, Daxton and Evelyn McMinn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Barbara was predeceased by her son, Robert DePillo; brothers, Frank (Lola) Viola, Thomas (Gloria) Viola, William Viola, Anthony Viola and Donald Viola; sister, Katherine Westcott.
