State Police are investigating a fatal car versus bicycle crash that occurred Wednesday morning in Ontario County.
Troopers say they responded to State Route 332, just south of Route 96 in the Town of Farmington at approximately 8:30a where a female bicyclist crossed from the northbound lanes of SR 332 to the southbound lanes where she was struck by a car travelling south.
EMS attempted life saving measures, but to no avail. The operator of the motor vehicle was taken to Thompson Hospital for minor injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
