Tompkins County Xmas Tree Recycling Running Through January

If you plan on recycling your Christmas trees in Tompkins County, you’ll have the rest of the month to do so.

Trees can be dropped off at the Recycling and Solid Waste Center on Commercial Ave in Ithaca from 7:30a-3:30p, Monday through Saturday.

You’ll need to stop at the scale house upon arrival to get a tree recycling ticket. Trees dropped off will be taken to Cayuga Compost for recycling.
