Six thousand plastic ducks will come to Auburn this Spring as part of the return of the annual Memorial Day Duck Derby.
After a three year hiatus, TomatoFest and the Ancient Order of Hibernians will partner to take over the holiday tradition.
Gilda Brower with TomatoFest says it’s great to be able to partner with the Hibernians.
She adds that money raised from the event will go toward supporting food security in Cayuga County.
TomatoFest and the Hibernians are taking over the derby from the local Kiwanis Club following its disbandment.
More on Auburn’s Memorial Day events can be found on the city’s website.
