His best performance came in the fall portion of the Empire 8 Championship. Green shot a season-low 85 in round one and then followed that up with an 86 in round two. The 171 was a career low in a two-round tournament for Green. He would follow that up with a 186 in the spring to place 28th in the conference.
Green was one of eight from the conference honored. From the conference’s release, “The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that ‘Competing with Honor and Integrity’ is an essential component of a student-athlete’s experience in conjunction with an institution’s educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportsmen.”
