The Keuka College Men’s Golf team played in their final tournament of the fall season, competing at the Nazareth University Invitational at Locust Hill Country Club on Monday.
The Wolves shot a 369 as a team to finish in fifth place in the six-team field.
The top three Wolves finished right behind each other. Cam Hovater (Camillus, N.Y. / West Genesee) led the Green and Gold with a 90 to finish in 17th place. Stephen Carr (New Paltz, N.Y. / New Paltz) was right behind him in 18th place shooting a 91. Nathan Gillette (Big Flats, N.Y. / Horseheads) rounded out the trio shooting a 92 on Monday.
The Men’s Golf team will return to action in April with their home spring invitational at Lakeside Country Club in Penn Yan. The work will be in preparedness for the spring portion of the Empire 8 Conference Championship also held in April.
