Senior pitcher Keegan Ferris (Elbridge, N.Y. / Jordan Elbridge) was named Empire 8 Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
Ferris started the 2025 season off with a bang. The pitcher got the ball on Saturday at Penn State Scranton and went the distance against the Nittany Lions. He went all seven innings of a 5-0 Keuka victory to earn the complete game shutout. Ferris struck out a career-best six batters while allowing just four hits in the win.
The Wolves are out to a 3-1 start on the season after winning the opening series in Pennsylvania. Keuka College will be back on the field on Tuesday as they face Fredonia State. The game will be played at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua. First pitch between the Wolves and Blue Devils is set for 10:30 a.m.
