The basketball career of Katie Deatherage (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Marcus Whitman) ends like it started as the senior was named Keuka College’s selection for Empire 8 Women’s Basketball Sportswoman of the Year.
Deatherage was also named Sportswoman of the Year following her freshman season. Deatherage is the first Keuka College student in any sport to repeat the selection.
Katie Deatherage set a new season high with 146 boards on the season, second-most on the Wolves. She added 66 points, two off her previous season high. In total, she had 423 rebounds over her 96 career games.
