The senior duo joins Madeline Greene ’23 as the only players in Keuka’s five years in the Empire 8 Conference to earn multiple all-conference selections.

Selected as a midfielder, Brooke Bonetti had the best season of her career in her senior year. Bonetti led Keuka College with 42 goals on the year, a career best. Her scoring average of 3.00 goals per game ranked third in the Empire 8 Conference. It was also the most goals in a season by a Keuka College player during their Empire 8 era. She capped her career with a goal in her final game to land on 100 career points for the Green and Gold. The senior also set new career highs with 26 ground balls, 19 caused turnovers, and 23 draw controls.

Repeating on defense for Keuka was Katie Deatherage. The senior led Keuka’s field players with 30 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers. Deatherage set a new personal best for caused turnovers this year. She finished her career with 101 ground balls and 65 caused turnovers, ranking as the seventh-most caused turnovers in program history. Deatherage also added an offensive attack to her game as a senior, setting new career bests with five goals and nine assists on the season.

Bonetti was also honored by the Conference on Monday, being named to the Sportswoman of the Year team. She was one of ten from the conference honored. From the conference’s release, “The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that ‘Competing with Honor and Integrity’ is an essential component of a student-athlete’s experience in conjunction with an institution’s educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen.”
