The Keuka College men’s soccer team came up short Wednesday night, dropping a 2-0 decision to SUNY Canton in its final non-conference matchup of the season.
Both teams opened slowly, with the first shot not coming until the ninth minute from Canton. Timothy Cowin (Syracuse, N.Y./Westhill) had the Wolves’ first attempt three minutes later, one of his three shots on the day. The Roos struck first in the 20th minute to grab a 1-0 lead, and Keuka went into halftime trailing despite generating three more chances.
Canton controlled the second half, earning a pair of corner kicks and six shots in the opening minutes. The Roos doubled their advantage in the 62nd minute and held Keuka to just one shot the rest of the way. Canton outshot the Wolves 20-2 over the final 45 minutes.

- Goalkeeper Logan Karn (Caledonia, N.Y./Caledonia-Mumford) tallied seven saves.
- Cowin recorded a career-high two shots on goal.
