The Wolves later pushed their lead to double digits as Jayden Keasey forced a turnover and Will Tehan hit a three in transition to give the Wolves a 25-15 advantage. In total, the Wolves hit six triples in the first half. A three by Green with 5:28 left in the half gave Keuka a 15-point lead, their largest of the half. Penn got back into it, but a three by Brumfield in the final minute sent the Wolves to the locker room with a 42-28 lead.
Penn College attempted to cut into the Keuka lead in the opening minutes of the second half, but Keuka responded and extended their lead. Nine unanswered for the Wolves extended their lead to 53-35 with 15 minutes left to play. A steal and fast-break layup by Damon Brumfield extended Keuka’s lead to 20 points minutes later. The Wolves would keep the margin in the 20s for most of the second half. The Wildcats cut into the margin in the final minutes, but 16 would be as close as they would make it.
