The Keuka College field hockey team celebrated Senior Day with a 3-1 Empire 8 victory over Alfred University, marking the Wolves’ first win of the season.
Sophomore Alexis McGregor (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) led the way with two goals, while Issabella Dunn (Port Byron, N.Y./Port Byron) scored to tie the game in the first half. Senior Erika Coville (Spencer, N.Y./Spencer-Van Etten) created multiple scoring chances, and Tori Nelson (Vernon Center, N.Y./Vernon-Verona-Sherrill) assisted on McGregor’s second goal.
The Wolves dominated the second half, holding Alfred without a shot after halftime and taking a season-high 25 shots overall. Keuka limited Alfred to just two attempts in the game.
