The Keuka College Cross Country teams competed on Saturday at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University.
The Women’s team for Keuka College took 22nd while the Men’s team finished 25th.
First-year Mae Ennis (Churchville, N.Y. / Churchville-Chili) led the Wolves, finishing 166th out of 255 runners. She finished the five-kilometer course in 22:04.2. Next across were Caiden Crego (Lyons, N.Y. / Lyons) and Sophia Babcock (Oswego, N.Y. / Oswego) who finished in 245th and 246th with Crego crossing 1.5 seconds ahead of Babcock.
In the men’s race, Jesse Bolster (Dolgeville, N.Y. / Dolgeville) continued to pace the Wolves. He finished the course in 32:58 to finish in 299th place. Anthony Manzari (Elmira, N.Y. / Elmira) was next across for the Green and Gold, taking nearly a minute and a half off his previous best 8K time.
Up Next for Keuka College: The Wolves are off next weekend. Keuka will be back in action on October 12 when they run in the Houghton Highlander Invitational.
