The Keuka College Cross Country teams ran at the Cross Country Only Conference (CCOC) Championships at Seneca Lake State Park in Geneva, N.Y. on Saturday.
The Keuka College Women’s Cross Country team finished in third place on Saturday. The Men’s team took fifth in a five-team field.
Leading the women was Christiana Curtis (Rensselaer, N.Y. / Columbia). The first-year runner set a new career-best time of 32:45.9 to take 26th place. Madeline Braunius (Lake Pleasant, N.Y) finished in 27th place while shaving over a minute off her previous career-best 6K.
Laura Barrett (Fuquay-Varina, N.C. / Southern Wake Academy) was next to cross the line for the Wolves. Caiden Crego (Lyons, N.Y. / Lyons) and Sydney Brown (Lowville, N.Y. / Lowville Academy) were next for Keuka College running in their first collegiate 6K race.
For the Men’s team, Jesse Bolster (Dolgeville, N.Y. / Dolgeville) continues to lead the team. The junior ran the 8K in 32:54.8 to finish in 29th place. Andrew Morrison (Hammondsport, N.Y. / Hammondsport) was next for Keuka College. Morrison took nearly two minutes off his previous career-best time, finishing in 34:43.1.
The Green and Gold will be back on the trail next weekend as the run in the Hamilton College Tune-Up.
