The Keuka College Department of Athletics has announced that Matt Michalski has been hired as the next Head Baseball Coach of the Wolves.
“I am truly grateful to be a part of Keuka College and am extremely excited about the future of our baseball program,” said Michalski. “With a strong focus on player development, effort, and accountability, we will grow not only as athletes but as individuals. Together, we’re going to compete and set new standards for the program.”
Michalski came to Keuka College from SUNY Cortland, where he has been an assistant coach for five years. Before that, he was a player at SUNY Cortland, twice earning SUNYAC All-Conference honors and being named to the NCAA Division III World Series All-Tournament Team in 2015 as the Red Dragons won the National Championship.
“We are excited to welcome Matt to Keuka College,” said Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Jon Accardi M’09. “What stood out about Matt is his undeniable work ethic and passion, both for the game of baseball and for helping student-athletes grow as individuals. Matt has already stepped in as a strong leader and role model for our student-athletes and we’re looking forward to seeing him help take the program to new heights.”
“I’m thankful for the opportunity to lead, learn, and grow alongside this team,” Michalski added. “Coming from a program with a winning culture, I’m eager to bring that environment to Keuka College Baseball.”
Michalski has already been on the field with the Wolves during their fall season. The team is practicing both on the field and in the weight room as players prepare for the 2025 season.
