The Keuka College Field Hockey team allowed five second-half goals in a 5-0 loss to Wilson College on Saturday at the Jephson Community Athletic Complex.
Goalkeeper Khadeeja Reed (Webster, N.Y. / Webster Schroeder) made 12 saves for the Wolves (0-8, 0-2 Empire 8), including several key stops in a scoreless first half. Keuka had scoring chances in the second quarter, including a shot by Erika Coville (Spencer, N.Y. / Spencer-Van Etten) and a missed back-post opportunity for Brianna Broadwell (Cato, N.Y. / Cato-Meridian), but could not convert.
Wilson College broke the deadlock 33 seconds into the third quarter and added three more goals before the period ended, followed by two goals in the fourth to secure the 5-0 victory.
Notes:
- Keuka is now 2-4 all-time against Wilson. This was the first meeting since the 2018 Colonial States Athletic Conference Tournament.
- Reed tied her career-high in saves, matching her performance from the previous game against Nazareth.
