The Keuka College Baseball team lost to Fredonia State 9-1 on Tuesday at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua. Tyler Lewandowski (Milltown, N.J. / Spotswood) had a pair of hits, including a triple, for Keuka College (3-2).
The Blue Devils scored a pair of runs in the first and added to their lead with three more in the third to lead 5-0. The visitors added insurance runs with two in the fifth and two in the eighth.
The Wolves got on the board in the ninth as a dropped third strike was thrown down the right field line allowing Carlos Fantauzzi (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Canandaigua Academy) to score from second. However, it would be the only run for the Wolves as they fell 9-1 to Fredonia.

- The Wolves fall to 1-7 against the Blue Devils all-time
- Carlos Fantauzzi had a single and Kyle Wood (Newark, N.Y. / Newark) doubled for the Wolves to account for Keuka’s four hits in the game
- Keuka College used five pitchers on Tuesday. Each pitcher struck out at least one batter totaling 10 for the Wolves. However, Fredonia pitchers struck out 15 Keuka batters
Up Next for Keuka College: Tuesday was the final game for the Wolves before their spring trip to Florida. The Green and Gold will return to the field on Monday, March 17 as the Wolves face Juniata College in Florida.
