The student-athletes at Keuka College continued to excel in the classroom and the Wolves were recognized for their achievements on Wednesday as the Empire 8 Conference announced its President’s List.

Overall, Keuka College placed 97 student-athletes on the Empire 8 Conference President’s List. It was the second-most in a semester for the Wolves in the past seven semesters. Over one-third of the student-athletes in the department earned the honor by recording a grade point average of 3.75 or above for the semester. Of the 97, 11 student-athletes play multiple sports for the Wolves.

There were 55 student-athletes who had a perfect 4.0 GPA for the fall semester. It was led by the Softball team with eight of their 17 posting a perfect semester.

The Softball team posted a 3.85 team grade point average. Both the highest for a Keuka College team and the highest of any team from any sport in the Empire 8 Conference. They are coming off of a year where the Wolves posted the highest GPA of any NCAA Division III softball team in the country last year.

Softball tied the Women’s Soccer team with 13 student-athletes earning Empire 8 President’s List. Baseball was the highest men’s team with 11.

Half of Keuka College’s teams were acknowledged as Empire 8 Conference All-Academic Teams with a team grade point average of 3.20 or higher. Softball led the way for Keuka College followed by Women’s Volleyball and Men’s Golf, each posting a 3.58 grade point average.

Overall, the Keuka College Softball, Women’s Basketball, and Women’s Volleyball teams have earned All-Academic honors every semester since Keuka College joined the Empire 8 Conference in 2020.
