After a scoreless opening seven minutes, the Wolves would strike first on Wednesday. Austin Holsclaw had the ball on the right wing and let a shot go. It snuck in between the goalie and the post for the 1-0 advantage for the Wolves. Oswego State would tie the game with five minutes remaining in the first quarter and take the lead 50 seconds after that.

The Lakers continued their run into the second quarter. The visitors added three more to push their lead to 5-1. Mitchell Wise found the back of the goal with a long shot with 5:36 left in the half. That would prove to be the final goal of the first half as the Lakers led 5-2 at the break.

Oswego State scored quickly in the second half, finding the goal 51 seconds into the action. The Lakers would extend their lead in the frame, outscoring the Wolves 4-0 in the third, to take a 9-2 lead into the final quarter.

The Lakers closed in out in the fourth with a pair of goals, all while holding Keuka off the scoreboard in the second half, to defeat the Wolves 11-2 on Wednesday.
