The Wolves created separation in the third quarter. Caiden Crego cut to the basket with a layup in the opening seconds. The Wolves then began to widen their lead. A jumper by Crego followed a Cotter three to push Keuka’s lead to 11. Alfred State cut into it, but the Wolves scored 13 unanswered points to take control of the game. During the run, A pair of Lillian Mullen (Canisteo, N.Y. / Canisteo-Greenwood) threes sandwiched a Mary Cotter three for the Wolves. Keuka outscored Alfred State 25-10 in the frame and took a 51-31 lead into the final quarter.
