The Keuka College Men’s Basketball team fell on the road at SUNY Poly, 77–65, in an Empire 8 Conference game Saturday afternoon.
Keuka College dropped to 6–11 overall and 3–5 in conference play. Kaleb Nutifafa led the Wolves with 19 points, setting a new career high.
SUNY Poly jumped out to an early 8–0 lead and controlled the game from there. The Wildcats maintained a double-digit advantage for most of the first half and led 44–22 at the break.
Keuka College closed the game on an 11–2 run, but the deficit proved too large to overcome as the Wolves fell 77–65.
The loss dropped Keuka to 1–15 all-time in games played at SUNY Poly. In all other meetings, the Wolves hold a 9–13 record against the Wildcats.
In addition to Nutifafa’s scoring effort, Lassana Dior Fofana recorded four steals for Keuka.
Up next, the Wolves return home for three games this week at the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center. Keuka College will host Elmira College on Tuesday in Empire 8 action, followed by home games against Houghton University and Alfred University over the weekend.
