The Buffalo Bills season came to a disappointing end Sunday with its 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round of the AFC playoffs.
In a game heard on Finger Lakes News Radio, the Bengals jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow was 23 for 36 for 242 yards and threw two touchdowns. Joe Mixon rushed for 105 yards on 20 carries and had a touchdown, while Ja’Marr Chase and Hayden Hurst added touchdown receptions in the win. The Bills lone touchdown came on a quarterback keeper from Josh Allen. Allen completed 25 passes in 42 attempts for 285 yards and one interception.
With the loss, the Bills finish the season 14-4.
The Bengals advance to next weekend’s AFC championship game in Kansas City with the winner moving on to the Super Bowl.
