One week after suffering cardiac arrest after sustaining a hit on the field in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals, Damar Hamlin was released from a Cincinnati medical facility and has returned to Buffalo.

Hamlin’s condition was upgraded Monday morning from critical condition to fair or good, which allowed him to be discharged and able to fly back to Buffalo. The 24-year-old safety is now hospitalized in Buffalo and will go through ongoing testing to determine what caused his cardiac arrest.
