In the second quarter, St. John Fisher’s defense tightened, holding Keuka to just eight points. Sydney Brown hit her first three-pointer of the game early in the quarter to take a 4 point lead, but turnovers hindered Keuka’s momentum. Mullen provided a spark with 4 points in the quarter, while Sydney Brown hit another three-pointer to cut into the Cardinals’ lead. However, St. John Fisher outscored Keuka 21-13 in the frame to extend their advantage to 51-33.

Keuka continued to push in the fourth quarter, with Sophia Babcock (Oswego, N.Y. / Oswego) hitting a three-pointer and Ellen Lavonas adding two free throws. Burd also connected on a three-pointer, but the Cardinals’ consistent offense closed out the game. Despite a solid all-around effort, St. John Fisher pulled away for the 76-47 victory.
