Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Warning of Ava Wood Phishing Scam

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office is warning people to be on the lookout for a phishing scam.

The office says scammers are claiming to be collecting money for the family of Ava Wood, the 14-year old Baldwinsville girl killed by her father earlier this month as part of a murder-suicide.

Deputies add the family has only approved three fundraisers.  Their links are listed below.
