A perennial New York summer attraction could become more expensive.
Part of Governor Kathy Hochul’s proposed executive budget would increase prices at the New York State Fair. Parking would double from five dollars to ten, as would admission, going from three dollars to six.
Rates for sponsorships, concessions, and non-fair events would also rise by 1.5%.
The state legislature will review the new budget which must be enacted by April 1st.
