A Lyons man is facing multiple charges after after hitting a victim with a broom, Saturday.
According to Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies, David Merkley is alleged to have struck the victim in the head and face with the broom and his closed fist before fleeing the scene.
Merkley was charged with 2 counts of harassment, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and obstruction of governmental administration. He was taken to jail to await arraignment.
