An overweight, overlength vehicle was the cause of an accident Wednesday in the Town of Jerusalem.
According to the Yates County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area of Italy Friend Road and Friend Road for the report of a motor vehicle accident.
Abhimanyu Parmar is said to have been navigating a slight grade on the roadway under snowy conditions when the vehicle began to slide. It then exhited the roadway, entered a ditch, beforere-entering the roadway and resting on its side.
Parmar suffered minor injuries and was cleared by EMS at the scene.
He was charged with having an overlength vehicle and an overweight vehicle.
