A new event has been added to next month’s Brave Brews Festival in the City of Auburn.
The New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center will host author Tara Nurin to discuss the history of women in the brewing industry.
Her book A Woman’s Place is in the Brewhouse goes into detail about the role women have played in the history of beer making.
Nurin’s talk helps kick off the Brave Brews festival throughout the city on March 3rd at 5:00p.
A full schedule of events for the weekend long event can be found at bravebrewsfest.com
