Police Investigate Baldwinsville Murder-Suicide

Baldwinsville police are investigating a murder-suicide.

51- year-old Christopher Wood shot and killed his 14-year-old daughter Ava Wood.

Police responded Friday to a Baldwinsville home after they were called by the teen’s mother. The parents are estranged and did not live together.  The father and daughter were found in separate rooms of the home.

Onondaga County Sheriff Toby Shelley says that Christopher Wood had a history of domestic abuse involving Ava’s mother.
