A new Executive Director has been appointed to lead the Yates Cultural and Recreational Resources, Incorporated. According to the organization, Beth Clark has extensive experience in events, non-profit business management, and community engagement and brings a fresh perspective and dynamic leadership to our organization. She previously served as the Executive Director of the Eldridge Park Carousel Preservation Society in Elmira, where she enhanced their programming that led to increased foot traffic, improved overall revenue, and significantly expanded their fundraising and grant efforts.
Beth’s tenure as the Program Coordinator at the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce allowed her to collaborate with local businesses, advocate for professional development, and create impactful programs within the Chemung County Community. Her ability to connect with diverse groups and build meaningful relationships will be instrumental in advancing YCRR’s mission.
Beth shares her excitement about joining YCRR: “I am thrilled to take on this new challenge and work closely with YCRR as we embark on the next phase of our expansion project.”
Her vision aligns with YCRR’s commitment to enriching the cultural and recreational experiences of our community. Reflecting on her motivation, Beth adds, “Philanthropy has been a large part of my life. My mother dedicated her life to helping others and giving back to the community, which is a quality I always admired and strived for myself. I look forward to continuing her legacy by helping to make a positive impact within the Yates Community.”
