Yates County Sheriff Frank Ryan, Undersheriff Brandon Jensen, and other members of the Sheriff’s Office leadership recently received official notice of reaccreditation approval.
The department was honored at a ceremony last week in Albany. Undersheriff Jensen also received special recognition as the agency’s Program Administrator.
The accreditation program is a voluntary, long-standing initiative that recognizes law enforcement agencies committed to meeting and exceeding established standards for policies and procedures. The program is administered by the Accreditation Council within the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Office of Public Safety.
