Everyone wants to bear witness to the upcoming solar eclipse in April and that includes the Yates County Legislature.
The governing body normally meets for its monthly meeting on the second Monday of every month at 1 p.m., which in April falls on the 8th, the same day as the solar eclipse. The legislature approved a resolution this week that will see its meeting now take place on Tuesday, April 9th, one day after the eclipse at 1 p.m. in the Penn Yan legislative chambers.
