The first Yates County Emergency Services Advanced Life Support transporting ambulance went into service over the weekend.
This ambulance will be serving the southeastern portion of the county for ALS and as a backup to the county’s volunteer ambulance agencies. A second ALS transporting ambulance will be placed into service later this week.

Late last week, Medic 62 was put into service for the first time. It will be staffed by Yates County Emergency Services’ Operations Manager during the day to support all county agencies with ALS services.
