The Yates Community Center is getting a financial boost, thanks to a $5,000 grant from the Yates Community Endowment at the Rochester Area Community Foundation. The funding will help support the center’s programming and operations, expanding access to wellness, recreation, and community-building activities for residents across Yates County.
Executive Director Charles Bollinger III says the support comes at a critical time and helps the center continue offering meaningful programs that benefit individuals and families year-round.
“We are deeply grateful to the Yates Community Endowment and the Rochester Area Community Foundation for their continued belief in our work,” said Bollinger. “Their support ensures we can continue developing meaningful programs and services that positively impact our region.”
The grant also brings the center one step closer to its goal of building a new 35,000-square-foot Community Hub. The future facility will offer health and wellness programs, educational workshops, youth and senior activities, and community events—all under one roof. The center expressed gratitude to the Yates Community Endowment and the Rochester Area Community Foundation for their continued partnership and support.
