A woman who admitted to stealing from her Schuyler County employer will spend time in jail for the crime.
Back in May, Jerri Thomas, of Horseheads, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of grand larceny after stealing $36,000 from her undisclosed employer. At the time of her sentencing by the Honorable Matthew Hayden in Schuyler County Court, Thomas had paid $18,000 in restitution.
In addition to 90 days in jail, Thomas was ordered to pay the remaining restitution over the term of her five years of probation.
