What were all those glowing lights Saturday night at the Grassroots Festival in Trumansburg?
Where did they come from? A product promotion, a new business venture, dropped by aliens?
You can thank Donna the Buffalo Super Fan, Jerry Skreckoski of Long Island. He grew up in Vestal, NY and attended the very first Grassroots Festival. It was back in 1991 that Jerry first heard Grassroots host band Donna the Buffalo and he’s been a fan every since.
Jerry has pulled other stunts to honor the band including handing out glow sticks, shirts, and balloons to honor the band. He estimates he has spent about $60,000 dollars over the years on the fun at Grassroots!
