Almost 200 people are attending the groundbreaking gathering of healthy-living experts for a weekend of wellness-focused programs and activities as Keuka College hosts Wellness Weekend at the Lake.
Presented in conjunction with the National Health Association, the weekend features a diverse range of educational sessions, hands-on workshops, and interactive panel discussions designed
to instruct and inspire attendees seeking to embrace a healthier lifestyle.
The College’s increased focus on wellness and lifestyle medicine, coupled with its location and natural resources, make it the perfect venue for the health-forward seminar, said College President Amy Storey.
“The Finger Lakes is one of the country’s most desirable vacation destinations and Keuka College is in the heart of it,” she said. “And our campus features the largest private waterfront on Keuka Lake, along with acres of wooded areas ideal for hiking trails.”
Combined with a farm sanctuary tour, networking opportunities, and the College’s picturesque, lakeside location, Wellness Weekend is designed to provide a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate the eight dimensions of wellness.
Featured speakers include luminaries in the field of whole food, and plant-based lifestyles, including Dr. Michael Klaper, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, Chef AJ, Gene Baur, Dr. Kerry Graff, Dr. Ted Barnett, Dr. Michael Greger, and Dr. Barbara Vacarr.
